By accessing our website, submitting a survey, registering as a vendor, or using any part of our platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our platform. |
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MyWeddingVendor.com (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms apply to all users of the Platform including engaged couples (“Couples”) and wedding vendors (“Vendors”). Where specific terms apply only to one user type, that is noted clearly.
1. ABOUT THE PLATFORM
MyWeddingVendor.com is a matching platform that connects engaged couples with wedding vendors based on compatibility of style, budget, geographic location, and readiness to book. We are not a booking platform, a scheduling service, or a party to any agreement between Couples and Vendors.
Our role ends at the point of match delivery. All negotiations, contracts, payments, and arrangements between Couples and Vendors are entirely the responsibility of those parties. We do not verify the quality, licensing, insurance status, or professional credentials of any Vendor listed on our Platform.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Platform in any way — including visiting our website, completing a survey, or receiving match results — you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
- You agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the Effective Date at the top of this page when changes are made.
3. TWO TYPES OF USERS
3.1 Couples
Couples are engaged individuals or partners who submit a survey to be matched with wedding vendors. Use of the Platform is completely free for Couples. By submitting a survey, Couples:
- Confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge
- Consent to their contact information and wedding details being shared with matched Vendors for the purpose of facilitating introductions
- Understand that matched Vendors may contact them directly by email or phone
- Acknowledge that MyWeddingVendor.com is a matching platform only and is not responsible for the services, conduct, or quality of any matched Vendor
- Understand they are under no obligation to book any Vendor they are matched with
3.2 Vendors
Vendors are wedding service professionals who register on the Platform to receive matched leads from Couples. By registering as a Vendor, you agree to:
- These Terms in their entirety, including all Vendor-specific provisions
- Our payment terms as described in Section 6
- Our dispute and refund policy as described in Section 7
- Our account suspension and ban policy as described in Section 8
- Our vendor conduct requirements as described in Section 9
4. MATCHING PROCESS
Our matching process uses survey responses from both Couples and Vendors to identify compatibility based on style, budget, geographic availability, and other factors. Matches are assigned a quality tier — Diamond, Gold, or Silver — based on the Couple’s readiness to book and the quality of the match between the Couple and the Vendor.
We do not guarantee that any match will result in a booking, that any Vendor will respond to a match, or that any Couple will be available or responsive. Match quality depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided by both parties. We are not responsible for poor matches resulting from incomplete or inaccurate survey responses.
Each Couple is matched with a maximum of three Vendors per vendor category. Vendors are charged at the time a match is delivered to them, as described in Section 6.
5. NO GUARANTEE OF MATCHES OR RESULTS
MyWeddingVendor.com does not guarantee:
- That any Vendor will receive a minimum number of matches in any given time period
- That any match will result in a booking or revenue for the Vendor
- That the Platform will be available at all times without interruption or error
- That Couples will respond to Vendor outreach
- That match quality will meet any specific expectation of any Vendor or Couple
- That the Platform will be free of bugs, errors, or inaccuracies
6. VENDOR PAYMENT TERMS
6.1 Pay-Per-Lead Model
Vendors are charged on a pay-per-lead basis. A charge is applied at the time a matched Couple’s information is delivered to the Vendor. Charges are not contingent on the Couple contacting the Vendor, booking the Vendor’s services, or responding in any way. Vendors are paying for access to a pre-qualified, matched lead — not for a guaranteed booking.
6.2 Lead Tiers and Pricing

Lead tier is determined by the Couple’s readiness to book and the quality of the style and budget match between the Couple and the Vendor’s profile. Tier assignment is at the sole discretion of MyWeddingVendor.com.
6.3 Monthly Lead Limits
Vendors may set a monthly lead limit at any time by contacting us or updating their profile settings. Once a monthly limit is reached no further matches will be sent until the following calendar month. Monthly limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
6.4 Payment Processing
Charges are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Vendors must maintain a valid payment method on file to receive matches. Failed payments will result in a payment failure notification. If payment is not resolved within 14 days of notification the Vendor’s account will be suspended. If payment is not resolved within 30 days the account may be permanently terminated. Outstanding balances remain due regardless of account status.
7. DISPUTE AND REFUND POLICY — VENDORS
7.1 Qualifying Refund Circumstances
We issue refunds only where a lead is demonstrably invalid through no fault of the Vendor. The following circumstances qualify for a full refund:
- The Vendor had a pre-existing relationship or booking with the matched Couple prior to the match being delivered, evidenced by dated documentation
- The Couple’s contact information provided in the match was invalid — specifically an undeliverable email address or non-functioning phone number — evidenced by a screenshot of the failed delivery or call attempt
- The Couple had cancelled their wedding prior to the match being delivered, evidenced by documentation
- A verified system error resulted in incorrect match data being delivered to the Vendor
- The same Couple was sent to the same Vendor more than once, resulting in a duplicate charge
7.2 Non-Qualifying Circumstances
The following circumstances do not qualify for a refund:
- The Couple did not respond to the Vendor’s outreach
- The Couple chose a different Vendor
- The Vendor did not attempt to contact the Couple
- The Vendor is dissatisfied with the match quality for subjective reasons
- The match did not result in a booking for any reason
- The Vendor claims the Couple was unresponsive, rude, or otherwise difficult
7.3 Dispute Submission Process
All dispute requests must be submitted to disputes@myweddingvendor.com within 7 calendar days of receiving the match. Requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be considered. All dispute requests must include:
- The Vendor’s business name
- The date the match was received
- The reason for the dispute
- Documented proof supporting the claim
Disputes submitted without documentation will be denied. We will review all dispute requests within 5 business days and notify the Vendor of our decision by email. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of approval. MyWeddingVendor.com reserves the right to approve or deny any dispute request at its sole discretion.
7.4 Abuse of Disputes
Vendors who submit excessive, repeated, or fraudulent dispute requests may have their accounts suspended or permanently banned at the sole discretion of MyWeddingVendor.com.
8. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND BAN POLICY
8.1 Payment-Related Suspension
- Failure to resolve a failed payment within 14 days of notification will result in account suspension
- Failure to resolve a failed payment within 30 days of notification will result in permanent account termination
- Outstanding balances remain due regardless of account status and may be referred to collections
8.2 Conduct-Related Suspension
MyWeddingVendor.com reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any Vendor account under the following circumstances:
- Vendors who are reported by multiple Couples for unprofessional, harassing, or inappropriate conduct
- Vendors who submit fraudulent dispute requests
- Vendors who attempt to circumvent our payment system including by claiming false pre-existing relationships to obtain refunds
- Vendors who share matched Couple information with third parties without Couple consent
- Vendors who misrepresent their portfolio, pricing, or services in their profile
8.3 Appeals
Vendors may appeal a suspension by contacting disputes@myweddingvendor.com within 14 days of suspension notice. Permanent bans are final and not subject to appeal. MyWeddingVendor.com reserves the right to ban any account at its sole discretion.
9. VENDOR CONDUCT REQUIREMENTS
By registering as a Vendor, you agree to:
- Respond to all matched Couples within 48 hours of receiving a match notification
- Represent your services, pricing, and availability accurately in your profile and keep your profile information current
- Treat all matched Couples with professionalism and respect regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic
- Not share a matched Couple’s personal information with any third party without the Couple’s explicit consent
- Not use matched Couple information for any purpose other than responding to the match and potentially booking their wedding
- Maintain all licenses, insurance, and professional requirements applicable to your services
- Not misrepresent your portfolio, pricing, or service offerings in your profile
10. PRIVACY AND DATA
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at myweddingvendor.com/privacy-policy. By using the Platform you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
In particular:
- Couple contact information and wedding details are shared with matched Vendors for the purpose of facilitating introductions
- Vendor business information including name, portfolio link, pricing, and style specialties is shared with matched Couples
- Sensitive Vendor responses — including responses to questions regarding LGBTQ+ experience — are never shared directly with Couples in identifiable form
- We do not sell personal information to third parties or use it for advertising purposes
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, design, and software — is the property of MyWeddingVendor.com and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written consent.
By submitting content to the Platform — including survey responses, profile information, and any other materials — you grant MyWeddingVendor.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
| TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYWEDDINGVENDOR.COM, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. Specifically and without limitation, MyWeddingVendor.com is not responsible for: The quality, conduct, performance, or outcome of any Vendor’s servicesThe conduct of any Couple before, during, or after a matchAny failure of a Vendor to respond to a matched CoupleAny failure of a Couple to respond to a matched VendorAny dispute between a Couple and a Vendor arising from or related to a matchAny damage, loss, injury, or disappointment resulting from a Vendor’s services or conductThe accuracy of information provided by Vendors or Couples in their surveys Our total liability to any Vendor for any claim arising from a specific match shall not exceed the amount charged for that specific match. Our total liability to any Couple shall not exceed $100.00. |
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyWeddingVendor.com and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Platform uses third-party services including Stripe for payment processing and Google for data storage. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party website.
15. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, without notice and without liability to you.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including but not limited to payment obligations, intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute between a user and MyWeddingVendor.com that cannot be resolved informally shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation before either party may pursue litigation or arbitration. Disputes should first be submitted to disputes@myweddingvendor.com for internal resolution.
Users agree that any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Virginia and consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyWeddingVendor.com with respect to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
17.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any waiver of these Terms must be in writing to be effective.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights granted hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
